Programme Survey

StrangkoFarm Management is divided into several programmes, which directly or indirectly influence each other.

They can be opened individually, and data can be entered in the various programmes.

Each programme has its own icon and can be activated via the icon.

Dairy Cattle
This is the main software where lots of data are visible. Here cows are entered, and all data concerning the cow calendar are also entered here.

Cow Calendar

In the menu of the main programme you find the cow calendar.

The cow calendar is made in such a way, that the actual event is emphasized. This simplifies the use and makes everything clear.

The actual status of the cow can be followed by viewing the screen.

Most data are shown on the clear user interface of the main programme

Milk yield:


In the menu Milk you find the programme, where each cow’s milk data are stored. Here you can see the details about which milking place has been used by the cow, time, conductivity and milking speed. This is stored twice a day during the whole lactation.

Furthermore, you can choose to see the milk data as a graph for a definable period, either both milkings simultaneously as a total or individually.

Illness Codes:
In this programme the various illness codes are entered, and afterwards they can be used in the management programme.

Illness Survey: 
Various illness codes can be entered in this programme. If you have automatic identification, the illness codes will be shown on the milking place as a warning to the milker.

Races:
In this programme it is possible to store different cow races.

Observation data:
In this programme all settings are made for print-outs and cow calendar data.

Group Programmes:
This programme is used, if you have many cows with same feed ration, e.g. cows grazing in the summer time, or if you for other reasons want to adjust the feed ration for a group of cows simultaneously.

Bulls:
In this programme you can make a file of the bulls used in the herd.

Feeding Programme::
In the menu feeding you find the programme to distribute specific quantities of concentrate to the individual cows. The distribution of concentrate can take place either in special feed stations placed strategically in the loose housing or inside the milking parlour. You can increase or decrease the daily food ration according to your wish, and you can also let the PC calculate a feed proposal according to milk yield.

Every day a rest list is automatically printed out with details of to which extent each cow has eaten the given quantity of concentrate.

Feed Types:
In this programme different types of concentrate can be filed and used for distribution of food.

Silo Stock:
When you get a new delivery of concentrate, it can be entered into this programme.

Status in Loose Housing:
In this programme you have direct connection to the loose housing. You can continuously observe the cows walking in and out the food stations.

Store Data on Discette:
This programme is used to store data on a discette. It is recommended to take a backup every time data have been changed.

Load Data from Discette:
This programme is used if you want to re-establish data from the backup diskettes.

Process Settings:
In this programme various control functions can be used to calibrate the feed, change of reset, change of date and time and reset of process computer.

KMW Settings:
In this programme the basic system settings are made. This programme is protected with a password and can only be used by the service staff.

Graphs:
Here you can sort out comparing data and see them as graphs. In this way you can observe in heat or illness with great security.
