Rotary Parlour
Model Strangko milking from the outside
The platform has a slope towards the milker which ensures the correct working height, easy access for attachment and a good view over the cow and udder. At the same time it ensures that moisture etc. cannot run into the rotary and thereby complicate the daily cleaning.
Pulsators, milk meters and other equipment are installed on the inside, beneath the platform, and are thereby ensured against moisture in the best possibly way. This also gives the milking system a surprisingly low noise level during operation.
Separate Milking
Separate milking in a bucket is done very easily with the special-developed Soffimat detacher. When the milking of the cow is completed the cow can leave the milking platform at the exit. The bucket and detacher continue all the way around and return to the milker without having to stop the platform. This increases the capacity considerably and saves the milker from taking many steps.

Selection of Cow for Which the Milking Was Not Completed
Milking systems equipped with Strangko Milk-Control offer the possibility to separate cows, if the milking unit for some reason has been detached even though the milking was not completed. These cows will then be let back to the waiting area. This is yet another function ensuring that the rotary is not stopped, if e.g. the cluster is kicked off during the milking.
The placement of the hoses optimises the draining of the milk. The stainless steel cluster only weighs 1.9 kg and is equipped with auto-start. When the cluster is lifted for attachment, the vacuum and pulsation start automatically.
The design of the entrance and exit sections is the key to optimised capacity in a side-by-side rotary. Strangko’s unique design with a wide entrance guarantees that all milking points are filled quickly, easily and without ”empty” spaces.
Platform Set to Wash
The washing of the system is done easily from the outside of the platform by operating the wash valve, and connecting the wash water underneath a shutter in the floor, where a tank alarm is built in.
Supporting Rollers
The platform rides on quality-steel rollers. The rollers are seated in non-maintenance single-oiled ball and needle bearings, and for every support there is a guide roller guaranteeing the alignment of the platform.
