Milk-Control

  • Modular structure
  • Detacher
  • Milk-metering
  • Conductivity measurement
  • Identification
  • Operation of entrance and exit gates
  • Operation of crowd gate

This is the most flexible system in the market for management in milking parlours.
With the Strangko Milk-Control, it is now possible to start at the automation level suitable for you and your herd right now and then build on step by step, depending on the change of your need without the original investment being obsolete.

The Strangko Milk-Control keyboard is well-arranged and easy to operate. It is possible to operate two milking points with 1 keyboard which leaves better space for the milking work. If 1 keyboard per milking point is used, it is possible constantly to see both cow number as well as milk quantity during the milking.

The Strangko Milk-Control can be installed in various ways. The below version can be installed as ”stand alone” as well as including identification.

Milk-Control versions:

  • Pulsator control and detacher control
  • Pulsator control, detacher control, and conductivity measurement
  • Pulsator control, detacher control, and milk-metering
  • Pulsator control, detacher control, milk-metering, and conductivity measurement

At the top of the keyboard various displays inform about:

  • Cow number
  • Milk yield
  • Milking alarms
    • deviation in yield
    • conductivity
    • separation of the milk
  • Cow-calendar alarms
    • first in heat
    • next in heat
    • pregnancy check
    • dry off
    • the cow has been dried off
    • 2 illness codes e.g. mastitis and penicillin
    • activity

What is completely unique for Milk-Control, the keyboard has a large LCD display where all information about the individual cow can be read directly on the milking point.

The user can freely program the information to be shown and in which order. This information can be divided into four groups:

Milking

  • Expected milk yield for the individual cow
  • The current milk yield
  • Conductivity measured during milking
  • Alarm for conductivity
  • Number of milkings where the milk is to be separated
  • Milking time
  • Average milking speed for this milking

Feeding

  • Allocated feed and the rest of feed type A
  • Allocated feed and the rest of feed type B
  • Allocated feed and the rest of feed type C
  • Allocated feed and the rest of feed type D
  • Allocated feed type A in the milking parlour
  • Allocated feed type B in the milking parlour

Cow Calendar

  • Illness code No 2
  • Alarm first in heat
  • Alarm second in heat
  • Alarm first control after insemination
  • Alarm: dry off
  • Alarm: has been dried off
  • Possibility of separating cow after milking

Settings
Can be seen when connected to PC

  • Time at the beginning of the milking where detaching cannot take place automatically (neutral time)
  • Max. number of seconds between 2 milk pulses (detaching time)
  • Pulsator speed per minute
  • Pulsation ratio on front teats
  • Pulsation ratio on rear teats
  • Pulsator speed per minute during stimulation
  • Pulsation ratio on the front teats during stimulation
  • Pulsation ratio on rear teats during stimulation
  • Duration of stimulation in seconds

The user himself decides the order of the above information. The display always shows 4 lines of information, and by pressing one of the arrow keys you can scroll up and down through the information until you find the required information.

If the Milk-Control is equipped with identification and PC, it is possible to set the individual milking per cow so that the individual cow can be milked in the most optimum way. For the time being Milk-Control is the only system in the market with this capability.

If the Milk-Control is installed without milk-metering, the signal for detaching will be sent from an indicator housing with electronic measurement of the milk flow.
