Program Survey

The StrangkoFarm management is divided into several programs which directly or indirectly influence each other.

They can be opened individually, and data can be entered in the various programs.

Each program has its own icon and will be activated by this.

Dairy Cattle
This is the main software where lots of data are visible. Here cows are entered, and all data concerning the cow calendar are also entered here.

Cow Calendar:
In the main-program menu you find the cow calendar.

The cow calendar is made in such a way that the actual event is emphasized. This simplifies the use and makes everything clear.

The actual status of the cow can be followed by viewing the screen.

Most data are shown on the clear user interface of the main program.

Milk yield
In the menu Milk you find the program where the milk data of the individual cow are registered. Here you find information on which milking point the cow was milked, the time, conductivity, and speed of the given time. This not just once but twice a day during the whole lactation.

Furthermore, you can choose to see the milk data as a graph for a definable period, either both milking simultaneously as a total or individually.

Illness Codes:
In this program the various illness codes are entered, and afterwards they can be used in the management program.

Illness Survey:
In this program the various illness codes can be entered. When having automatic identification the various illness codes will be displayed at the milking point with a warning to the milker.

Races:
In this program it is possible to store different races.

Observation Data:
In this program all criteria are made for print-outs and for settings of cow calendar.

Group Programs:
This program is used when having many cows with the same feed ration, e.g. cows pasturing in the summer time, or for other reasons you want to regulate the feed ration for many cows simultaneously.

Bulls:
In this program the file of the bulls being used can be made.

Feeding program
In the menu Feeding there are some programs where you can allocate certain quantities of concentrate to the individual cow. The distribution of concentrate can take place either by special feed stations placed strategically in the loose-housing barn or in the milking parlour. The requested increasing or decreasing quantities per day can be allocated, and you may even leave it to the PC to calculate a feed proposal according to the milk yield.

Every day a rest list is automatically printed with information to which extent each cow has eaten the allocated quantity of feed.

Feed Types:
In this program different types of feed can be filed and used for distribution of feed.

Silo Stock:
When getting a new delivery of feed this may be entered into this program.

Status in the Loose-housing Barn:
With this program there is a direct connection to the loose-housing barn. You can continuously observe when a cow enters or exits the feed stations.

Save Data on Disk:
This program is used to store date on a disk. It is recommendable to make backup every time a change of the data has been made.

Load Data from Disk:
This program is used when wanting to re-establish the data from the backup disks.

Process Data:
In this program various control functions can be used: Calibration of feed, change of reset, change of date and time, and reset of process computer.

CMW Settings:
In this program the basic system settings are made. This program is protected with a password and may only be used by the service staff.

Graphs:
Here the comparing data can be sorted and seen as graphs. In this way in heat or illness signs can be observed with great certainty.
